Team Challenge - Corkscrew
Team problem solving Corkscrew is a challenging exercise designed to improve problem solving and cooperation in groups. Each member of the group is given unique information which, when shared, will help them to answer the question, "What is the vintage of this bottle of wine?". Information can be shared verbally but not visually. No individual in the group has enough information to be sure what the task really involves or how it may be done. The group must develop a common understanding about the nature of the task and the objective. Corkscrew is an excellent exercise to help team members understand the cooperative process, work more effectively in groups and to reach solutions to complex problems.
